Radio Officer

Roger *KAØRT* Teachman

Role: Head of RACES

Duties: Leads the RACES group and is ultimately responsible for operations, readiness, compliance, and coordination with served agencies. Sets priorities, approves activation decisions, and ensures the team operates within FCC rules and local emergency management structure.

EOC Officer

Mark *KCØFGP* Spaulding

Role: Emergency Operations Center Liaison

Duties: Manages RACES operations within the EOC. Coordinates communications between RACES operators and emergency management staff. Ensures message flow, situational reporting, and integration with the Incident Command System.

HF Officer

Mike *KBØGWK* Mcelroy

Role: High Frequency Communications Lead

Duties: Oversees HF operations for regional and statewide communications. Maintains HF equipment, frequency plans, and propagation readiness. Ensures long-range communication capability when local infrastructure fails.

Safety Officer

James *KDØGJY* Bise

Role: Operational Safety Lead

Duties: Monitors and promotes safety during training, activations, and deployments. Identifies hazards, enforces safe operating practices, and ensures compliance with applicable safety guidelines and PPE requirements.

Hospital Officer

Role: Healthcare Facility Communications Liaison

Duties: Coordinates amateur radio support for hospitals and healthcare facilities. Maintains relationships with facility leadership and ensures communications capability during drills and real-world incidents.

Portable Operations Officer

Rodney *WØREM* McDaniel

Role: Field Deployment and Portable Systems Lead

Duties: Oversees portable, mobile, and rapid-deployment communications assets. Manages go-kits, trailers, antennas, and field setups to ensure reliable off-grid operations.

Training Officer

Brandon *KDØHTI* Trube

Role: Training and Readiness Coordinator

Duties: Develops and manages training programs, exercises, and qualification standards. Tracks member readiness and ensures operators are proficient in procedures, equipment, and ICS integration.

Trustee

Role: FCC Station License Trustee

Duties: Holds legal responsibility for the club station license. Ensures compliance with FCC regulations, proper station identification, and authorized use of frequencies and equipment.

Role: Website and Digital Systems Administrator

Duties: Manages the RACES website and online systems. Maintains content, access controls, and operational updates. Ensures timely dissemination of information to members and served agencies.
